Weekly Fishing Report (updated from February-October) Oughterard is renowned world-wide for its excellent game angling in its Lough Corrib. There is also Coarse fishing available on the near-by Ross Lake.  Fishing is a way of life for many that live in the area as well as a favorite pass-time for many of its visitors.
