The Oughterard Show is an annual agricultural and livestock show now in its 47th year. Oughterard becomes host to horse, cattle, sheep, dog and other animal competitions as well as domestic arts and dozens of categories for entry.
This show plays a key role as national championships in some categories.
The weekend also plays host to market and local trades-people stalls, a Best Dressed competitions, live music, art exhibitions, set dancing, children’s entertainment and lots more!
The Oughterard Show is a local institution and plays a vital role in the agricultural lifestyle as well as an important social occasion in Oughterard.
