Bog Bay is a spacious, open plan, four bed roomed house on the lake shore.The house is not overlooked and is surrounded by natural grass and bogland and has a private path to the lake.
The large windows in the house offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside and scenic views of Lough Corrib- famous for its quality trout and salmon fishing. There are many beautiful walks that can be taken from the house on the local bog road, yet the house is situated only 1 km from the local town, Oughterard.
Rooms
The house has an open plan Kitchen/Living/dining area with large windows on all sides offering panoramic views of the surrounding area and it has a double height ceiling. The Dining table seats 10 people and there is a comfortable seating area in the living room to relax in.
The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances – oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher.
Upstairs there is a room space with a pool table -this room overlooks the living room.
There are four bedrooms – two double bedrooms upstairs and two twin bedded rooms downstairs - each bedroom has an en suite with shower. The house sleeps 8. There is also a cot available. There is a main bathroom also.
There is a utility room with a washing machine/drier, ironing board, iron etc.Bed linen and towels are provided.
