"I had a French angling journalist over last week, who was very happy to catch a lot of small trout on mayfly patterns, but was thrilled when Kevin Molloy from Oughterard, who was with us for 2 days, landed a magnificent 15lbs ferox trout. Unfortunately, the fish was deeply hooked and had to be dispatched, but will make for a fine framed photo in Kevin’s house. "
